5 Earth Facts for Kids
Once a year it is a tradition in our village to go and clean our community from the trash. It is a nice way of celebrating Earth and showing our children awareness. Our planet is such a treasure and if we do not take care of her, who will?
Here are 5 Earth facts for kids to teach them about our planet and its importance to all of us:
- Our planet Earth is the third planet from the Sun.
- Earth is covered with around 71% of water.
- Only 3% of Earth’s water is fresh the rest is salty.
- Our Earth is approximately around 4.5 billion years old.
- The atmosphere of Earth has 6 layers – the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere, exosphere, and ionosphere.

Let’s have a look first at this fun flower craft for kids. Create with cupcake liners adorable daisy. Then print, cut out, and color our small earth globe printables. Place them in the center of the flowers and you are good to go.
